Facebook photo tagging and privacy question?

If someone whom you're not friends with tags your mutual friend will the tag post on your mutual friends wall? What if their privacy settings are friends only? Would our mutual friend see it on his wall but not me since I'm not their friend? Because I can't see all of my friends tagged photos, nor were there any posts about the extra pics I can't see
